You already know what to eat. That was never the hard part.

You've lost the weight before. It came back. The problem isn't information — it's everything around it: the stressful day that ends in a bag of cookies, the night of tossing and turning that leaves you too tired to move in the morning, the schedule with no room in it for you.

Hopping from one diet to the next isn't the path. Healthy living is about more than what's on your plate.

How coaching works

Small steps. Real changes. Someone in your corner.

  1. 01

    Start with a conversation.

A free consultation: where you are, where you want to be, and whether we're a fit. No pressure.

  2. 02

Build a plan, not a diet.

No points, no weighing food, no lists of good and bad. We find the basic improvements that fit your life and make them gradually, so they stick.

  3. 03

    Keep going, together.

Regular sessions, and support between them when the question is “what do I do with summer squash noodles?” You leave each session motivated — and accountable.

I've spent more than twenty years working alongside physicians and midwives, counseling patients on diet, health and wellness. What I've learned: we can often heal ourselves, and a pill for every ailment is rarely the best cure. Small, simple steps change everything.

National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach

What “board certified” means

The NBC-HWC credential is issued by the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching, in partnership with the National Board of Medical Examiners. It requires approved training, logged coaching sessions, and a national board exam. Most people calling themselves health coaches don't have it.

Questions people ask

Is this a diet?

No. Diets dwell on calories, carbs, fats and proteins. We work on basic improvements and gradual changes — and on the stress, sleep and habits that drive how you eat.

Do I have to count calories or weigh food?

No. Neither is necessary.

How long do we work together?

That depends on you and your goals — we'll talk it through on the free consultation. The Reset is five days.

I'm already working with my doctor. Does coaching fit?

Yes. Laura has worked alongside physicians and midwives for over twenty years. Coaching complements medical care; it doesn't replace it.

What does it cost?

We'll go over pricing on the free consultation, once we know what you're looking for.
